MEO PROGRAM

Posted 2/22/2007 Printable Fact Sheet

The primary objective of the Air Force Military Equal Opportunity program is to improve mission effectiveness by promoting an environment free from personal, social, or institutional barriers that prevent Airmen from rising to the highest level of responsibility possible. The MEO program seeks to eliminate unlawful discrimination against military personnel, family members, and retirees based on race, color, national origin, religion, or sex.

In some cases, Alternative Dispute Resolution is an option that the MEO office may use to facilitate communications between disputants and lead to early resolution of informal cases. Facilitation is the ADR technique authorized to resolve informal MEO complaints. For further information, contact your local MEO office.
