9/4/2012 - WASHINGTON, DC -- Air Force ADR members attended the recent Federal Dispute Resolution Conference held on August 20 - 23, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. The three day conference included informative and current ADR trends such as the use of emotional intelligence to resolve disputes, deploying your strengths to prevent conflict in the workplace, the development of the word "compromise" and its use in negotiations, and learning to effectively work with others in difficult situations. The lunch plenary featured a dynamic motivational speaker and an exhibit hall with key vendors was present throughout the duration of the event. Air Force members gathered for an informal networking session on the second night to share information, stories, make connections, and enjoy the conference. |
